I can't handle when people have a beef with you - and they talk to EVERYONE else about it but you.

Then when I try and confront them about said beef - they don't return/answer/respond to phone calls or emails.....

Seriously - find something better to do. If you are going to talk that much shit, at least have the cojones to talk to me about it.

Why are people surprised when someone has issues with someone else, and they don't confront the person they have issues with about it?

It's not surprising.

It's so easy (and fun!) to shit talk with people you like, trust, and are better friends with. Meanwhile, shit talking someone to their face is called a CONFRONTATION, and most people will go to great lengths to avoid that.

So it shouldn't be surprising that people talk about others "behind their backs". And yet this is the 1,000th post I've read where someone is shocked that they haven't been immediately and directly confronted about their (alleged) failings.

It isn't about my alleged failings though - and I know what you are saying. I am guilty of the same offense. I am no angel when it comes to this, it is human nature.

The question that needed to be asked though was so simple, and was answered with proof as soon as I heard through the "raver information network" what had been said.

Why create drama, instead of just asking......

Anyone can shittalk, that doesn't take any effort. But if you can dish it, you'd better be prepared to take it when someone finds out that you've been gossiping about them and confronts you. I find that most people can't take it when you call them on their bullshit.

That’s not true for what Ive witnessed... I went to visit my Nanna in her retirement home last weekend and things don’t change as you get older. As I was wheeling her into the dinning room for dinner she over heard two old women talking about her. I agree with Avana about the talking shit though, if you got an issue or question about what someone did or said and you KNOW that person, go fuckn talk to them and save a whole shit load of drama. But Grapes is right, confrontation is hard for most.

When ever I talk about people I just try to make a rule to never say something about them that I wouldn't say to their face. Of course I'll ussually say it in a different way when they aren't around then if they were, but the point always stays the same.
