Group Members flaking on your project

My group started out with 5 people.
One dropped out since the second week
Another came into our meeting today giving us info that me and another person did in step one of the process - this was his conclusion.
He dind't know what we were doing our case about.

Another guy just sits there and doens't talk. I just looked at his contribution and had to do an hour of editing with numerous spelling, grammar and punctuation errors.

35% of my term is riding on this.
Thank god for peer evaluations.

It's me and one other woman doing this case and fuck it's taken us about 20 hours in the past 3 or 4 days just to do other members work.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Don't think that professors haven't had people run into this problem about a million times.

They can figure out who's done work and who hasn't..

Dude, I FEEL.YOUR.PAIN. I experienced group project hell hundreds of times when I was @ school, eventually it nearly always just fell to a few group-members and myself doing all of the work for all of our projects. Group work is kinda like a game of chicken to see who will give in first and start doing work :P

I remember highschool being a pain in the ass when it came to projects in my elective classes, no one wanted to do any work. Pussies...

I always hated group projects just for this reason.

Someone slacks and doesn't care so you end up taking their workload and doing it yourself, and half the time they got the credit for your work.

Complete bullshit.

I always hated group work in lower level classes, but now in the upper levels it is much better because people pull their weight, plus you can pick people that you know will do work. :)
