Who work's today?

Hey just wondering who works today. I know Sunday was a Holiday, but do people have a day of today (Monday), like is it a stat today? I'm asking cause I'm not sure if I work today and my boss won't pick up his phone. I'm guessing I have a day of since he didn't say anything on Friday.

I just wish he picked up his phone so I could be sure and not wondering about if I work or not. Damn bosses that don't pick up their phone.

all depends on your work schedule really. don't think anyone can tell you except your boss.

i have the day off, but i work a monday-friday 8-4 kind of job (so christmas also became a 4 day weekend)

if a stat holiday is on a weekend (like new year day and christmas) then the Monday is usually used as a stat bank holiday!

I don't work today

some ppl can also get the Friday before off.

or you can work retail etc and it doesn't matter to that business that it's a stat

if you don't normally work on the day a holiday falls on, then you usually get a day off in lieu.

ie- if you usually have sundays off of work and a holiday falls on a sunday you generally get the monday off.

if your boss isn't answering his phone, that should be a good indicator that you don't have to go in.
