Getting Bronchitis and strep throat
So after being sick for about two weeks thinking i only had the flu, yesterday things started to get really bad. My head was pounding i started to develop a fever, it felt like my body was shutting down. So after work i decided it was time to see a doctor, i could already tell it was going to turn into strep throat, every time i start to get really really sick, it always turns into strep.
After waiting 45 minutes for the doctor i finally get in, I told him i probably have strep throat, and he told me i was right.... and i also have Bronchitis, and a high fever.. BAH!! who gets Bronchitis and strep$%#$@ So finally i get to go pick up my penicillin from the pharmacy which takes 40 minutes.. The doc told me i should get my tonssils removed, but after what happened to my brother.. im way to scared to now. THIS SUCKS! and i leave for my trip in a week and im missing work!!!! ..bahh... now all i can do is lye here and drink my chocolate milk shakes..

Dude..have fun. I just got over two weeks of BAD strep throat..and now I have the worst "watery eyes, runny nose, stuffed up" cold. It never fucking goes away.. I hope you get better though =/
....what happened to your brother to make you afraid of removing your tonsils? I had mine removed..POPCICLES AND JELLO FOR A WEEK! :p

Man that sucks.....but you think you got it bad... I get bronchitis like 2-3 times a year...I even cough up blood......
I started getting sick like two weeks ago with sore throat and head aches...And I have gotten so sick that I cant breath at night I have to knock myself out with drugs if I want to sleep...The other day I slept for 18 hours strait, with only waking up once to puke....Then went back to sleep for another 14 hours....Everytime I try and walk I fall to the ground..I cant even get myself a drink. So the docter said this coughing up blood thing is no good. So he sent me to go get some blood tests today... BLOOD TESTS FREAK ME THE FUCK OUT.... for some reason I just cant stand that part of my arm being touched.. And I am terrified of needles(I have to get laughing gas everytime I go to the dentist) So they drain 10 tubes of blood from me...then they say they forgot to drain one tube so they gotta jab me again in the other arm for one stupid tube... Then I leave the place to catch the bus and I collapse on the sidewalk....Not a fun time... Every 20 feet I walk I gotta sit down caus I might puke... and I cant stop coughing WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME..... I am sick of being sick... Its so fucked...Its seems that every time the seasons change I get crazy crazy sick... I wish I had someone to take care of me too..:P

get your tonsils out.
i used to be constantly sick, until finally i got scarlet fever. the actual sickness wasnt too bad thanks to medicine that can calm fevers and shit, however the breakin of the fever was not good, my skin bubbling up and peeling off twice not cool, and my hair thinning sucked ass. sometimes tonsils are just bad. mine were apparently over sized, and acting like bad sponges - sucking in the germs and letting them multiply. getting them out was excrutiating, i cant deny that, however, it was worth it. (minus that past 7 months of stomach problems) i have been healthy since i got them out at 18 - its going past 3 years now. seriously get them out. its not worth keeping them in.

^ scarlet fever wrecks havock on the body.
at one point i was painting a house while in the midst of my skin peeling off and paint got under it and i hat paint bubbles under my skin. then i started wearing gloves..... never again. i also got pityriasis rosea (sp?) which looks like dry skin patches all over but is related to the nervous system as a result of it. get your tonsils out when they say.

plenty of vitamin C. I live on that shit when I'm sick. Glad that's not often.
Grapefruit Seed Extract is a great natural antibiotic as well. And cost-effective, considering the rising prices of prescription meds. Even though I don't know you, I hope it passes as comfortably as possible. I hate when something I can't control keeps me from enjoying life.

Yeah sarah i get strep throat at least every 2-3 months.. this year i'v already had it over 3 times.. but i'v never coughed up blood.. thank god.. And im terrified of needles.. When the doctor was about to check out my throat i thought he pulled out a needle.. i was just like Wow i douno about that needle going into me.. He replied umm its just a cotton swob . HAHa.. yeah it was an awsome moment for me..

Lauryn- Well my brother had the same problem as i do, so he got his tonsills removed, but when he was in surgery the doctor forgot to attach a certain piece to another, after removing the actual tonsill. After surgery my brother started to cough up blood. He went to the doctors after and they couldnt find out what was wrong. So they sent him home with some meds. The following night after, he began puking up blood, and let me tell you it was coming up fast! So my mom called an ambulance for him, and they took him to the hospital, they went straight into surgery to see what was wrong with him. Turns outs everytime his heart would pump, it would pump blood into his stomach, making my brother cough and puke up blood. He lost alot of blood because of this surgery.. Thats why im scared to have it.. Although yes i know it is a very common surgery im still scared to have it done..

I've got Bronchitis again. I usually get it every 2- 3 months, but i have never had it this bad before. Im just getting over a fever, and it feels great that I can actually stand up alright today. I hate missing work cuz I really need the hours, but there was no way in hell I was going to make it through the day yesterday. Today I should manage fine cuz the fever part is done with, but im stuck with this nasty cough for a while now. The one good thing that came out of being this ill...I FINALLY quit smoking... YAY ME!!!

yeah i have to get better soon i leave in 6 days !!! Yeah I'v had to call in sick for the past 2 days now which really really sucks, but theres nothing i can do .. i still have a fever, and my throat hurts. But i have this whole weekend off.. which is a bonus, it'll give me time to study for my final on monday, which i havent been able to study for, for the past few days
