my effing ipod won't recharge.

its a shuffle.....and when i plug it in, it dosn't have the orange flashing light, that it used to have.

anyone eles encounter this?

i think the mini's, nano's and huge ipods, are different from the shuffles.....

i hope i don't lose my music tho.........

My iPod has a problem too - it stays on the "Do Not Disconnect" screen for DAYS until it switches to the "Charging Completed" screen.

I did notice it was working fine at one point, and that was with a previous version of the firmware but their new firmware fucked it up and now it takes 4-5 days to charge it instead of 3-4 hours like it used to be.

you won't lose your music if you reset your iPod...only a FULL reset..or whatever it's called...you will be fine

True. A reset won't erase your music. But a "Restore" (in the iPod Updater) will format your hard drive and you will lose everything.
