AND CEL PHONES! WHY DO YOU GOTTA BE 19 TO GET ONE! THATS THE BIGGEST BULL SHIT IVE EVER HEARD! THE ONLY REASON I GOT MINE IS CUZ MY FRIEND WORKS AT THE PLACE AND SHE SOLD IT TO ME!!! DAMN STUPID PEOPLE GRRRR

the reason you have to be 19 to have a ell phone is cause you've gotta have a credit ard.. they have to do a credit check..
ause they don't want a bunh of people buying phones and running up a $600 bill on it and then skipping out.. that's dumb..

and by 19 your should be working and out of school [high shool at least] and be able to pay back what you use on your credit card.. duh...

i've been wanting a credit card for sooo long now.. is it really that much to ask to be able to have my own Rogers Video account? or to have my cell phone in my own name? geez louise.
oh, btw, you only have to be 18.

i applied for one but the bastards declined my application. probably because i have a shit job.

Thats weird...I got my cell phone with out a credit card. And I even got my cell for free sent to my work in the mail along with all the things that come with it.
So I guess I lucked out there.

And as for the credit card part...I have been with CIBC for as long as I can remember...and for the past 2 years..they have been denying me everytime I applied for a credit card...although I was able to get a car loan of 6500 dollars ??

So I called up the visa place....and i BITCHED!
Im like "listen buddy...I have been working blah blah making lots of money..blah blah" you get the point...i Just bitched.....
and the guy on the phone was like "you just dont have any credit...your loan is 2 months short of giving you credit " grrrr im like "but how am i supposed to GET CREDIT if you wont give me a damn credit card ??"
after about 30 mins of scraping with him...he finally said ok.....fax me your pay stub and how long you've lived where you are...and I'll mail you one.
OK DONE!

and now i have a credit card of 1000 limit.
more then what i needed..but o well.
So sometimes you just have to bitch if you really think you deserve it ! :)

i was told to get a credit card asap... getting it early helps you start building a credit rating for yourself..

just be smart about your money and make sure you'll always be able to make the payments.. dont be an idiot

This can work for you or against you.

I got one card, then another and then another then went and spent all this money I didn't have.

Now I owe about $20,000 for things I have done in the past.

Play now and pay later I guess.

They keep jacking up my credit lines too. Once card gave me an extra $3000 since I didn't use their card. That's fucked up logic.

Bottom line: Be careful on how you use the credit. If you get over your head you are in a world of trouble. I've been there so I know. They will come after you.
