Work calling on your DAY OFF
No, there was absolutely NOTHING important that needed to be discussed at all.

My manager, who emailed the info to me, decided it would also be cool to call me and tell me and ramble on about some nonsensical bullshit for like four and a half minutes.

Seriously, unless it's life or death, don't fucking call me on my day off, especially if I am going to get the f'in email as soon as I get into work next.

^ exactly. that's what caller id is for. they can leave you a message, and if it is something crazy important than you can call them back and deal with it. otherwise it waits until later.
