Learned today that my Parent Company: Air Transat has been chartered by the Government to help ship a bunch of Citizens out of Turkey.
Looks like I'll be handling some Evacuees!

I think I would be worried if my familly was stuck in Lebanon (which they were) and couldn't get out. Some people are renting taxis to take them to the border. The fees are about $600 each person and border cost another $100, plus another $200 at the border for taxi to town. If you have some money, you can get out.
I think of the heatwave and the kids who are listening to bombs exploding outside their doors and the jets flying by at 4am dropping bombs on innocent civilians. Is Canada doing all it can to get Canadians out? No. We should have kept those fast cat ferries and we could be on our way. Now we have to rely on Italian warships, that must be fun. It's a real shame to see Harper licking Bush's boots and sitting back talking about future action. This dickless moron needs only to move people from Lebanon to a safe country.
