im not sure when it happened. but pop music has really gone rotten.
It wasnt that bad when I was younger, I remember seeing wicked videos on much music like 6-8 years ago.

I miss the days when I could turn on much music and once in awhile I'd get to see videos for the likes of crystal method, chemical brothers, dj shadow, fatboy slim, underworld, the prodigy, roni size, kid koala ..... and thats not all of em either.

I've lost all faith in that channel, I just like to watch the artist bio's once in awhile. Even Rap City and the Wedge dissapoints me everytime.
but they did santanas bio yesterday,that was pretty awesome.

Yeah mainstream has definitely taken a turn towards just making a catchy tune that gets stuck in your head regardless of how decent the song is or not. The videos are all about how much skin one can get away with showing and well... those that were respected sell out to the "image" that is the trend these days. I have taken a leave from the mainstream and have been searching for the gems in my collection that I treasure and in search of new and more stimulating music than the radios and music shows of today can give me

I gave up on muchmusic long ago - they're not about the music at all - just a youth lifestyle channel.

I got an expressvu satellite dish & the bpm:tv channel add-on for $3/mo. Videos all day such as these:

Muchmoremusic seems alright. Geared more towards the GenX/Baby Boomer crowds.

Kids these days though... man, I dunno. The music that gets fed to the mainstream just ain't right. I guess, as with everything, Bush is to blame.
