israelis
Arrogant,self absorbed, war mongering agressive people.
alot of israelis travel in south america. i mean ALOT. its like the thing to do when your out of the army. one of the things that really struck me about SA last year. sometimes i will meet a very cool,level headed progressive thinking israeli. but this is a exception. ive been doing some major conversational probing down here and the overwhelming majority: support the war in iraq,support george bush, enjoy the killing palistinians,lebanese,egyptians,syrians, and beleive that they are gods chosen people and can absolutly do no wrong. they are all fucking insane and israel,along with the united states are about to start WW3. Zionism is about to kung foo grip the world and thats going to wake up the east, russia,china,korea. all of these people that i talk to want this. they want to consolodate ALL power to US/Israeli control through war. its really, reeeeeaaallyy fucking scary if you ask me. cause its all really happeing right now. strong thoughts i know....but the things i hear down here and the things they talk about and beleive. i cant help but draw this conclusion and its one that i share with many MANY others. everyone I know who has been to South America has said the same types of things about Israelis. What would you be like fresh out of compulsory military service in a country flooded with those ideals?
I only met one in Australia and he was pretty cool. *cue the angry Israelis and others...

It's such a political mess. Funny enough its probly at fault of the UN. They really have to figure out something thats fair for both ppl's or else this problem is only going to get bigger and bigger.
In a way I can see the point of view from both ppl. I also wouldnt be surprised if the Israli government educates their ppl the way the US does by making them over patriotic. The way you discribe the Isralies you met during yoru travels sounds allot like the Americans I met in Australia. However there still are a few open minded ones. One american admited that their told non stop that their the best country in the world, their tot that their the greatest, their tot that you always have to be the best etc... yeah its too bad cause there are some really good hearted israelis....but the vast,overwhelming majority i simply can not stand. time and time again they are considered to be worse then americans by backpackers from other countrys.
i thank the lord every damn day im canadain :) i feel sorry for them. alot of it is due to their hideous,dispicable government. theve been playing the victim card for too long. uggh its such a god awful mess....

A bit off topic..But man can thewy have come out with some crasy ass Psy Trance for the world thoe..without them id have nothing to play for the masses..They may have different out look on life in general..but they love their trance..I guess no matter where you go on earth andwho you talk too Music is the only constent..and if thats waht makes peace..than so be it.

'Patriotism and it's less attractive cousin Nationalism' are the modern pillage of humanity. Everyone is backed by varying doctrines, ideals, labels and faiths.
Saying that, i did meet an israeli and a jewish guy from LA and the ends of the spectrum at which they sat were incredible. I could describe it but not here.

I went to elementary school with an Israeli dude once. He had clammy hands and smelled like cat pee all the time, although I'm sure that had more to do with his personal hygeine than the fact that he was Israeli.
