My story is similar. My friend a few years ago who was driving us around in his car, he got wasted and passed out in the passenger seat. We couldn't leave the car where it was and he couldn't drive. I had a few drinks but it was close to 4 hours previous. I was not drunk.
I drove the car a short while heading to my friends place, hit a road block and was busted cuz I had my N. Lost it for a bit over a year and spent 1.5 nights in jail :(
It was really lame.
I learned my lesson. I won't even get into my car after a beer now or drive with extra people. I got put to the lame rules after having not so lame rules.
Driving really is a responsibility. I respect having my licence a lot now. I used to do some dumb things, not really bad, but this was the worst and I got busted for it.
The time flies past when you don't got a licence. Take advantage of being able to party and not having to worry about a car. Get it out of your system.
