one day i was watching some garbage reality show.. and just sat and thought... what did we ever watch before reality tv? and for a brief moment i seriously couldnt remember... i decided it was time to give it a little break.. and just stayed away for a month or so.

I've always hated reality TV. I've said time and again that these shows just bring out the worst in people. They'll lie, sneak.... whatever it takes to win.

The fact that there's actually an audience for this drivel is more disheartening than the fact that it's on in the first place.

I have a feeling that what you see on the show will be way watered down compared to what might be edited out or said when the cameras aren't rolling. Having this sort of segregation can cause feelings of ill-will towards another team turn into racial issues. Who's willing to bet that when no one else is watching the slurs will come out? ******, spic, chink, honky..... it's inevitable unfortunately.

You gotta hand it to the marketers becasue people will watch it. Thankfully I can't count myself among them. I'm not nearly trash enough to take even the slightest interest in this lowball tactic.

i'd be offended, but i guess i just don't care enough. i enjoy a lot of reality tv shows and apparently so do millions of others. that doesn't make me dumber than you. i don't ask a lot out of tv entertainment. reality tv is just something interesting that i can relate to and watch progress, week after week.

well that could be the argument they're using on the show. you're right about people making such a big deal out of race, though. we're different and that's cool. who knows how the show will actually turn out. while it could be a shitstorm and lead to some major racism, it could also be a good opportunity for the producers to show pieces of their different cultures, etc, so that we can realize and enjoy our differences instead of being offended that someone noticed them.
