I thought the new American owenership might be a good thing, now I see that they are just cheap bastards.

They are ending the season this Sunday, April 21 which is 10 days early. They have more than enough snow to stay open until the end of the seson. :378:

They didn't have the BBQ at the top of the quad like they did for the last few years. :378:

Customer service sucks HUGE. They used to try and do something for the customer, now they just say 'Too bad. New ownership you see.' :210:

If I lived closer to Mt. Baker I'd never to go Cypress again.

Guess I have to hit up Whistler now.

you should come to kicking horse, you would have so much fun there. 2 bowls on the hill, glades, big steep mountain sides, deep deep deep snow! *drools*
it kicks ass, i will post some pics when i get them developed.

oh, and NO LIFTLINES! and it only takes 13 minutes to get to the top of the mountain (11,000 feet up a ridge)
i'm sorry, i don't mean to go on and on about it but it's just so damn good!
best terrain i've been on since i worked for a heli skiing company in the monashees. yum:)

I'd love to come to Kicking Horse. Maybe next year when there is snow instead of slush.

yes, next year will be sooooo awesome! i'm looking forward to it already. i think it's closing this weekend anyways.

there's hotels in golden that do ski and stay packages for pretty reasonable prices. i don't live right in golden, i'm about an hour and 20 mins away but i'll most likely be driving there a few times, as much as i can:)
or you could do the ski bum thing and sleep in your car (j/k).
