Unexplained pain

I woke up yesterday with this really bad pain in my chest and shoulders. I have occasionally had this pain but it never lasts as long as it has now. For almost 24 hours now i have had this stabbing pain in my chest that hurts more when i breathe or move around. Im scared I may have injured a rib in my sleep or something. Has anyone ever cracked or broken a rib before and if so what did it feel like?? Im contemplating going to the hospital since it is so bad that I cant sleep but I am scared that it is nothing and going to the hospital will be a waste of my time.

GO to the hospital or Dr. and dont try to explain it away.... if you think something is wrong then something probably is wrong.

Dont take your health for granted.
