Record Crate
Not the plastic dairy land kind...
Im looking for any metle/krome record crate that holds from 50-70 records. Prefer one where you can through it over 5 feet in the air and drop it with out the records/record crate getting damaged. And or can take the top off and turn it into a 2nd record holder if you know what i mean? New or seccond hand... You can also email me at [email protected] Last edited by Ree Fresh; May 19, 03 at 08:55 PM. |

i have some at Masterplan
they are aluminum stucco hold 70 to 80 records and are 50/50 split like you want. it has 2 handles on the left and the right, but not on top. Made by multi-caisse in Quebec and ATA approved for airline transport. I've been using a similar larger style for a few years and its indestructible. they are around 200, but i can knock some bucks off for ya i've also got oddyssey cases in various styles ranging from 120 to 150...but these just look pretty...if you drop them enough times they will break. |

or just order direct and cut out the middleman....
Dinosaur Cases They can also custom design whatever you want. A friend of mine had this awesome case specially built by these folks for shipping all this gear back to Australia. |

2nd masterplan is their only distributor in the lower mainland. 3rd dinosaur cases are total shit, they fall apart have horrible glue seams and cost way more. The reason is they are such a small operation that if you do order from them its basically one guy making your case. Multi-caisse has a huge facility and is at least hundred dollars cheaper if not more than any dinosaur case because of the volume manufacturing they do. Not to mention your getting a much better product. My record crate from multi-caisse is still going strong after 2 years. A similar dinosaur would be in the trash by now. Ask any local production crew that uses roadcases for gear or equipment and they will concur with this opinion. People might think i'm just trying to stick up for Masterplan and make a sale...but then i wouldnt say this part. If you do want a custom case then go see Don @ Clydesdale cases (www.clydesdalecases.com) . Quality again kicks ass on dinosaur and his turn around time is a lot quicker. I've gotten all my custom cases made there direct from the manufacturer. If anyone goes to see them, tell them Akeel sent you, you'll get a good deal. Whenever I need something special for my live PA equipment, this is where i go. If i want something simple like a record crate or flightcase for a turntable then i use multi-caisse because its way cheaper. sorry bout the rant-i just like to make it clear where i stand.
