I was quite surprised to see Spankrock on there. I quite likes that one. Also glad to see Juana Molina high up and J Dilla make it. I figured Cat Power woulda ranked higher, though.
Still don't see what all the fuss about Joanna Newsome is. An hour of harp covered in sqeeky vocals just doesn't sit well with me. Ah well...

^^^ Plus, no man needs more than three pairs of shoes. You need one for job interviews, one for work/winter, and an optional one for play/summer.
Yet there are people with a hundred pairs of Nikes, more than they could ever possibly use in their lifetime. That's exactly the reason why the terrorists hate us. They can't even scrape together bread money and we collect $100 shoes to be left unused in boxes in the closet. Something is wrong here and they know it. After all, they built the factories where these shoes were made.

you're an idiot. when i'm in my doing-lots-of-stuff summer phases i need (at least):

- a pair or two of skate shoes, these get destroyed quickly when skating
- running shoes (running / jogging)
- court shoes or cross trainers (bball / tennis / anything that i need ankle support)
- climbing shoes (climbing)
- bike shoes (clipless pedals)
- flip-flops or something for the beach (not necessary but lots easier)
- pair of dress shoes
