its not about postive or not, the review is supposed to review the cd, it doesnt. it reviews a thread on DOA, which most people who would buy the cd, have already read. just sayin

obviously he didn't like it enough to actually review the music, only the politics he read about on DOA. it should have been an article on pendulum and just ignored the album

yes true, but then an actual article on pendulum might reqire a little more info than the cyber-heresay one can aquire from one DOA thread.

And Jess, I also received excellent English grades and, for what it's worth, had several of my pieces printed in local mediums but I find review writing to be something entirely different. I'm also working with a friend right now on an independant magazine... does that make my opinion more credible than yours now? Not at all. There are key guidelines which need to be adhered to, as well as very trivial, specific qualities that apparently seperate a poor review from a great review.

No you missed my point. I only threw that in NOT because I think it makes my opinion more valid but because I am tired of him claiming HIS opinion is more valid because he writes for a couple publications.
