You know when a dj comes to town, you go to the show and are aboslutely amazed by the performance? The music is fantabulous and you just cant seem to stop dancing. You don't leave the floor and you're totally mind fucked by what you're hearing. Who has done that to you? And what genre do they play?

1. Carl Cox - Plush - Techno/Tech house
2. Steve Lawler - Redroom - Progressive house
3. Sharam Jey - Celebrities - Electro/Progressive

closest it came to that for me this past year was DIPLO @ Celebs, not because of any amazing turntable skills or anything but just purely the tunes he was playing. great mixture of classics, remixes, current hits, new-school club shit, and mad international dance sounds that nobody in that room ever heard before.

most of the shows i saw last year were allright.. the only one that really blew me away was sasha at celebs... noone even comes close.

as for other djs... dj heather at commodore was pretty good..nothing like ass shakin chicago house.. and ben watt at caprice was a good show as well it was refreshing to hear some different tunes and not just what everyone else was playing at the time (ie. garbage top 40 electro)

That Diplo show was freakin great.

CSS opening was a fun start to the night, it's a shame that celebs isn't set up properly for a stage PA.
