Why does it seem that every long time raver becomes a breaks, DnB, jungle etc... junkie?

i find it that...
everyone starts off likeng trance and progressive house....well at least i know thats what happend to me!
and then now...it's just like muh.....,..where's the real beat~!! breaks are tha shit....thats what i like most, and then OBVIOUSLY jungle/dn'b~ anyways thats how I feel about it peace~

breaks vs. 4/4
in the uk the breaks scene is cooling off a bit... things like samba and latin influences are coming through, not really my cup of tea... also more experimental producers are getting their dues (Plaid, Lemon Jelly, Bonobo, Normal Position etc) these are all hip hop/breakbeat influenced artists but are doing new things... all quite quirky sounding. worth checking if you see any imports.

uk breaks? never heard uk breaks before.. any good? i don tlike uk hardhouse..hardhouse or trance.. listening to those kind of music once in a while is okay.. yeah everyone starts off with liking trance than hardhouse.. than when they get sick of it.. they switch to breaks.. than when they get sick of breaks they switch to jungle.. breaks you can dance to it easily if you find the beat.. jungle is a lil bit harder if you guys still cant find the beat.. just keep on listening to it.. and youll get it.. yeah jungle is fast..i love it.. its awesome!!..and i love breaks too!!! florida breaks!!! oh my gosh.. i can go on.. but ill stop here

Was just talking about the Breaks scene in the Uk. Not a specific genre. Jungle is British though (proud). Have you heard of Photek? He started making Jungle and went on to be one of the genres most highly rated producers, was on Goldie's MetalHeadz label. His latest album is 60% Detroit vocal house! interesting?

breaks are the best!!! it's the one thing that can really make me get off my ass and DANCE!!! it's like an uncontrollabe urge within me everytime i hear some phat breaks. i started with house but that eventually got too boring. thank GOD for breakbeatz!!! :009:
