im pretty sure reverb removal is almost impossible unless you do it manually which could be time consuming and not work very well unless there are long gaps in between vocals

this page should have some answers though

EXACTLY......putting a really hard gate on is your best option.

but on vocals a hard gate might make the track sound to choppy.

i usually gate hard on drums only...

no man its ok, i was told not to worry about it and i have a load of other things to do (for work). It was for an interview and the soundguy must have been hungover, there were people working all around them and the mic was far away.

like i said it was pretty rough.

thanks tho =D

i work for a background music company, i edit music and samples a LOT. plus for my own productions at home, everything i use is a sample. I've spent a lot of time every day for the last 3 years cutting up audio

you could just chop it in an audio editor. Cut the reverb tails and then reconstruct the vocal. I've been doing this shit in my idm for years. It is possible, all you need is a stereo wave editor, a big spliff, and some concentration time.

doesn't sound like reverb is your problem so much as it is an abundance of ambient noise. not much you can do about that i'm afraid...
