The Chemical Brothers (Push The Button)
Decided to get Push The Button.
God I love the Chemical Brothers. I never quite hear that same kind of tracks from anyone else as I do from these guys. I remember listining to them on my way to school back in like 95. And its still just as good now as it was then! Thought Id share. Put me into a good mood! |

i agree, "Push the Button" re-ignited my faith in the chemicals. The whole album is great. The bros are in true form!
Which is more than I can say about the previous lp "Come with Us" which I found to be a bit of a let down - considering how amazing 'dig your own hole' and 'surrender' are. |

I was a huge Chemical Brothers fan. I got into them in 99 when Surrender came out. I listened to that album almost esclusively for the summer of 2000, and then worked backwards through their catalogue. Dig Your Own Hole for a few months, then Exit Planet Dust for a few months.
I remember anxiously awaiting the release of Come With Us, and not being impressed by the album. Never heard Push The Button, except for Galvanize which I've been requested to play many times at Top 40 events. The Private Psychedellic Reel, and Song To The Siren are their best tracks imo. Edit: Oh also, a few years ago I bought The Singles collection on vinyl. 24 of some of their most known works. Best $60 I've ever spend on records. Last edited by Séguin; Mar 30, 07 at 12:11 AM. |
