Oddly enough, a lot of commericals use rave music as the background. DnB and breaks are very popular for cars and electronics.

and on the radio, when the announcer is talking theres usually breaks or HH or trance in the background

That's mainly cause it's incredebly easy to do orginal compostions for electronic music. Not nearly as much studio time needed, less pay for artists.

People in BC especially are so narrow minded when it comes to music. If it aint on the radio, it suxs. A lot of people don't even know they like electronica (or "Rave" music) unless you point it out. Mind you, the following artists may not be the greatest, but they still are electronic.

ie. Chemical Brothers, Prodigy (new album soon), a lot of songs on Z that are anthem trance, the list goes on and on.
