try using mIRC there is a hole shitload of mp3 channels on Undernet and EfNet servers, plus it's really easy to use, usually you just type !search (song name here) and then you'll get a private msg back on how to download the song.

A little technical for the newb but definitely a good way. Also try newsgroups. Every isp has a mail server.
