Breaks, especially leaning more towards nu-skool seems to be the trend.

But again, I maybe biased :500:

jungle and drumnbass should be in the same category. I consider them the same thing. Even if they weren't, they're definitely close enough that it's too hard to make a decision between the 2.

Definetly breaks---> their getting huge in the uk.
dj's of other genres (like sasha and digweed) are even begining to cross over to the breaks.
breaks/progressive house sounds are gonna bomb.

hardcore doesn't get itself a choice.

(i think it goes under "Acid (All Types above 140bpm, NRG)")

Yep, UK is definitely on the rise for breaks and evolving into their own sound. Progressive breaks and more electro acid breaks are also popping up more. Check out Meat Katie.....

I was wondering why I'm the lone wolf on techno? Surely it has to emerge localy soon, there is just so much diversity in that style. Funky and hard is where it's at!

a better way of doing this would have been to put it like this...

DnB
Breaks
House
Trance
Techno
Hardcore

But I think that we've all gone over this before ages ago.

Well breaks takes the cake I think.

As for concerns, *core music while is a definite aquired taste, it;s already been mainstream back in the rotterdam days and I doubt it will ever reach that peak again except in certain circles.

I figured breaks would win, but i was curious anyways.
