Mixing Style?

Whenever someone brings up the word "mixing" in
regards to spinning who stands out?

Somone that attempts hella risky mixes and always seems to pull them off?
EQ nut?
Slow clean blends?
Crossfader extordinar?
etc..

When i think mixing i think DJ Jelo (Toronto) STANDS OUT!!

I've seen this man on 3 occcasions and he has blown me away every single time.
Very clean, crisp, and creative. Very unique and screams style.
The next best thing since sliced break!!!



Derrick Carters house also comes to mind.

that guy blows my mind, it just sounds like complete and beuatiful chaos. his cutting is pretty crazy, and im fairly sure that he is fucked on jib ALL THE TIME. he never stops moving. =)

doug doesn't do speed, we've been friends almost 7 years and btw, watch the cuts he makes...

yah, i didnt mean to insult him there, kinda just meant that to emphasize his quickness of mixing and nimbleness of fingers ;)

dieselboy.... now he does some absolulty mindblowing mixing

his mixes are long, layered mixes, the tones always match, and he uses everything on the mixer. He cues in the next song in many different spots and throws them as teases or just simply to enhance the song hes already playing...
