Searching by Genre

Does anyone know where I can launch a search for mp3s by genre?

I want to add to my music collection, but it's hard to hear stuff that you like, and get the names of it too. There must be a place where I can click on random artists from the same genre, to preview the sounds, and then go and download them. Either from the same place, or a different one.

For example: I listen to the Dance and Ambient channels on my satellite, but most of the songs just make good background music; they're not ones I actually like listening to, just ones that I will if they're playing. I've only heard a couple of songs on these channels that I actually liked enough to download.

Best thing i can think of is Groovetech.com

Its a vinyl store but u can search by genre and u can listen to samples on most if not all trax on each LP or EP, thats how i got to learn house and techno. Then all u gotta do is try and find the MP3s of the songs u like somewhere else.
