Ordering Vinyl Online
Do you recomend it??
Do you get them fairly quick?
How long does it usually take?
What are some good sites?
Have you ever recieved the wrong record?
Is there anything that i should do/watch out for when buying records online?
I'm thinking of buying records online from now on cause i'm sick of the crap that is left at the stores by the time i can get there.

it is too risky

They always steal your money and never ship anything.


In fact my mum ordered online once and they sold her creditcard numbers to other people.

I order almost all my records form online stores in the UK. I have never had a problem, i always recieve my records on time and in good condition.

hey

been buying nothing but online for 2.5 years. only places to avoid are htfr and be weary of dancegrooves, as they take no responsibility for lost orders, even though they're insured on their end. Otherwise, it beats huffing it down to ff every thursday!

www.tuneinn.com absolute best for trance and techno, excellent for prog too. Often get up-front promos that are available absolutely nowhere else, but they are usually marked up a ton.


www.chemical-records.co.uk. Excellent prices, excellent stock on trance, garage and jungle. Biggest problem is that every order I've ever made from them has take like a month to get here for whatever reason.


www.ukdancerecords.com. Often get some awesome tunes. Super friendly dudes who run the place, and orders arrive super quickly. Biggest problem is that the site is only updated once a week on wednesday.

I have ordered ALL my breaks online with there never being a problem. I have always gotten what I have ordered and it is shipped realtively quick -- within 5 to 7 business days.

Yeah ordering online is sweet, MUCH better selection than anywhere here in vancouver record stores. Just make sure its a reliable store like groovetech.com or sattellite records or a label stores. Also groovetech.com has a sweet selection, well atleast for house, and if u want u can go and pick up the records you ordered yourself cuz the warehouse is in seattle and u dont have to pay any shipping charges! Great for large orders if yer headin down there anyways
