the best tables in the industry
For a very long time it seems that tech 1200's have been ruling the industry.
Now that there's more turntables comming out with newer features and better torque.. do you think the industry standards will be changed from tech 12's to something else? |

i think it will unless technics step up and make a turntable with a tone matching control with teh same torque
but i have to admit intrducing digital technology to the turntable is gonna change the way djing is so much... it would require djs to have seriously OUTSTANDING sets since theres just so much u can do in terms of track selection with the techs with the popularity of final scratch and the pioneer cdj 1000, i can see the potential of dj performaces just becoming simpl y mindblowing... as for now the fuckin pansy performances on the techs nowdays is just hurting... keep your eyes peeled =) good things coming up |

one day the standard setup for a DJ would be...
2 cdj 1000's 2 industry standard tables (with the tone matching controls and 78 rpms with tech 12's torque) Final Scratch equipped with an industry standard external drive of over 10 gigs 4 channel mixer with a really damn good sampler, effects and 3 band eqs external 12 band eq board so djs can set their eqs on the mixer the way they like it industry standard drum machine with loop and pre set drum patterns industry standard kaos pad or roland or whatever vs 2 tech 12's and a 2 channel mixer with 3 band eqs!?!? (which is the standard now) wow... just IMAGINE what djs can do.... u pretty much make new music on there! oh man i know i'd have some serious fun on a setup like that! damn! then djs would be recognized for true skills rather than simply playing track after track |
