Malicious Mike?!?!?!
K, I think its time for Twisted to bring in Malicious Mike. I saw him spin @ Blyss and he kicked ass. Vancouver deserves to see this man pump up the crowd. Cinto, since your part of Malicious Records, I don't see why you couldn't get him up here.
Track listing for his new mix: 01 - Malicious Mike - Make the Girls Dance 02 - Wiley - Tonite 03 - Euphoria - Volar Contigo (D-Zam Remix) 04 - Blutonium Boy - Journey Through the Time (Malicious Mike Remix) 05 - Oliver Twyst - Tell Me (Malicious Mike Remix) 06 - Malicious Mike - Radio Rockin' 07 - Doc Roc - I Can't Hear You (D-Zam Remix) 08 - Oliver Twyst - Energy 09 - The Domingo Brothers - Hydro (Malicious Mike Remix) 10 - Malicious Mike - Prince of Darkness 11 - D-Zam - Blast Dis (Malicious Mike's Darkside Remix) 12 - Jimmy Rhodes - We Have a Problem Here 13 - DJ Trashy - Ya'll Ain't Ready Trashy's been here, D-Zam has been here and now its time for MM. This is why I luv funky breaks. Woot! ~Tim |

OK guys.... First off who ever said he's predictable, please tell me how? Yes, he's been here twice before, but predictable... FAR FROM... Mike is a very good DJ, he pumps up the crowd, has a wicked trak selection that no one else plays when they come up here, and is a very cool all around guy who loves to interact with the crowd.
And yes every party that twisted threw for the last two years i've has Malicious Mike at the top of my list to try and bring back. but no one listened... So i've tried.. but if you really want him back contact your event thorwers and request him... and they'll let me know and i'll book him! Cinto :smoke1: |

Well first off let me start by saying that i very much enjoyed both gigs that i did in Vancity. Both promotors were very nice and went above and beyond. I would come back and play for either of them at anytime it would be my pleasure.
As far as being predictable, i think you have me mixed up with somone else, out of alllllllll the breaks djs i tend to ride my mixes the longest, and in 15 years i have never played the same set twice. I get at least 20 unrelease tracks a week from various people so to say that i would play what every other breaks dj in fl would play, well that wont happen you can bank on it. i can remember my first set in van city when i played for Twisted, i played mainly trancey breaks and electro, most tracks saying at least 80% of which no one had yet since i did them all myself. My second time in vancity I played alot of electro funk most of which no one had yet since most of the tracks were given to me the week before my flight up. So in a nut shell if either of these promoters book my to come back i can assure you that, just like my new cd, you will hear music that you have never heard before. There are a few djs from Fl and one in particular that had made quite a few appearences in Vancity that do play the same set all the time but definatly not me. Much love for Canada, and my boy Cinto who by the way just had his Remix of Brookly Queens Amanda released on Tommy Boy. Good going dog, look out for his first release on Malicious Recordings, realllllllllllll soon. www.maliciousrecordings.com [email protected] |

my boy cinto has come a long long way over the past year and a half, i am very proud of him and thats why im going to not only release records in the US for him but also promote him. He has become a good friend and has gone through alot to be where he is now, he still has a long way to go but with his hard work has pushed himself ahead really fast, his first remix project that i set up for him goes on a major label, you cant do better than that, im very proud of him. i am also gonna start a canada based label which cinto and his brother will run, im sure he will post further on that as we get closer to launch time, at this time i am also launching a new label called Thugway Records. The first single is Malicious Mike & Dj Fuzz-Make The Girls Dance, Remix by my good friend Dj Trashy. The second release on Thugway will be BreaksThugs In Harmony- this will feature 3 melodic Itell breaks tracks, Adrenaline by D-Zam, Take It To The Top by myself and Slipstream by Wiley. This sister label to Malicious Recordings will allow us to get more of our music out for you djs and breaks lovers with the amount of work everyone has been doing I had to come up with a realistic way of getting it all out, I hope you guys will like.
Keep up the good work Cinto, like i said i just would take a lil time. wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop |

Hey Mike... haven't chatted with ya in awhile, since you played up here in da club and then the party...
As I have told Cinto, we do eventually plan to book you again - count on it. I was impressed with your track selection, hell even your MC'en. You definitely get the crowd involved with your sets. Peace. |

I totally agree Mike with your points on Eric... Dude blows my mind track after track that he is producing - getting better and better with each one. It has me waiting for what he has in store next.
I can't wait to see what unfolds with the new label... Cinto knows how to get ahold of me if you need Twisted help IE: I would have no problem organizing a Record Label launch party here for ya. -- Lemme know. PS: When I was at Cinto's place, he played that mix of A-Ha - Take on Me was absoultely sick. I would seriously pay big $$ for that if I could get my hands on it. Peace. Quote:

long time no talk, thanks for the kind words, and again thanks for the hospitality last time i saw you. That track will be coming out on Paragon Music Group, Its called-Malicious Mike-Radio Rockin, there will be a straightbeat Trance mix by Dj Viro that is off the hook, I can't wait to get back up there and as soon as i can get you a white label ill send it to Cinto to pass on to you dog.

Not a problem... least we could do!
SERIOUSLY? I have been buggin Cinto about when that track was coming out... ask him... he'll tell ya. I can't wait for that - it was like my favorite song back then. Lemme know when that white label is pressed... Like I said, I will pay for it. And as for comin back up here... that will definitely be happening sometime soon - stay tuned. And as I mentioned, when the label is ready to launch, lets put our heads together to figure out some sort of launch party. Peace. Quote:

I don't know who posted that under my name, saying that Malicious Mike is predictable......Far from it. Eric it is Jeremy, iwas with u last time he was here and he rocked the show. I think someone wrote that while i was away from the computer. That is the last Dj that I would say is predictable, believe me...

This whole post is meaningless.
Its just a big promotion for you mike and you eric(which would be fine if it was just 4mula promoting who has nothing to do wit malicious rec.) Anyways if someone says a producer/dj/artist bites ass that is fine. If someone says the dj rocks ass that is fine also. But I have no respect for shameless self promotion when it is not needed.(exception to those who r stuck playin in their bedroom) Cinto obviously you think Mike rocks even if he sucks ass your opinion is completley biased. The reason why "noone listens to you" is b/c you guys are label mates obviously you think hes a great dj that pumps up the crowd. And Mike djing wise you may not be predictable but all the florida "electro funk" that i ahve heard you produce is extremley predictable. |
