Wu-Tang
Anybody here like Wu tang's album 36 Chambers?
It's definitely on my top 10 list as far as rap albums go. Some amazing lyrics and such a raw sound. The old school Wu members, Rza Gza O.D.B. Inspectah Deck U-god Ghost faced killa Method man am I missing anyone? It's been awhile since I last heard these guys and today my memory was refreshed as to how good that album is. Anyone else feel the old school wu? |

Ooooh, I can't believe I forgot the chef "cookin up some marvellous shit" haha.
yeah those tracks are huge, I also like da mystery of chessboxin! some incredible flows on that track. Back in like grade 7/8 me and my buddy memorised pretty much every word to all those tracks you mentioned. We listened to that album non stop. |

word, i've been a fan of the wu since the beggining. Rap is best raw and rugged. West coast is nice, but I prefer this raw ass shit. Gold Streaks knows what i'm talkin about. They've harsh come down off their thrones of hip hop lately though :(
This is my ranking of wu albums 1-enter the wu 2-only built for cuban linx 3-wu tang forever 4-ironman 5-supreme clientele i could list all their cd's but hey then those wouldn't be my favs. oh yeah, fav 2 members. Johnny Blaze n' Ghost |

Chris:
It's Julien, not Justin - no worries tho. but yeah, I agree with you about the rugged and raw aspect to rap. It's just so good. "I'm more rugged than slave man boots/ new recruits/ I'm fuckin up mc troops/ I break loose/ and trample shit when I stomp/ I'm modellin that ass cause I'm straight out tha swamp." ahh, the good old days. P.S. me and Lauren were lookin for ya at the drink last night. |

Fuck. My broke ass had no money for cover last night. I SOOOOOOOo wanted to go. I was listening to my atomic hooligan cd over and over again all night :( I love that wu-tang verse. LOTS of good ones. We gotta go cruisin, blaze a shitload of doobs and listen to some wu!! always nice to be around someone that appreciates it on the same level as you. Gold Streaks. ????????. i though u were a big wu fan. what the shit. i thought u were down but now u ain't. haha j/k u'll learn, just like ppl learned to love jungle. |

^^
No worries Chris I'm horrible with names. I often find myself trying to remember someones name, and then not being able to, followed by having no choice but to call them dude, man, etc.. haha. I'm definitely down with blazing a pound of chron and disecting some rugged new york cuts. That's too bad about last night... the music was really good, but the place was almost empty (considering who was spinning) pretty much the whole night. |
