after living in the eastcoast for 4 years, i gotta say Vancouver is brutally behind when it comes to techno.....i think its because alot of people are still obssessed with the Oakey's and Picotto's...
I wish the vancouver scene would be more like the mature Montreal scene. No trance in Montreal, but alot alot alot alot of house and techno. I saw Mauro Picotto (although hes not really techno), Chris Liebing, Dj Rush, Adam Beyer, Umek, Pascal F.E.O.S. and Joel Mull all in a month! OMG Vancouver we need to wake up!!!! =)
