i've been listening to this cd non stop! anybody who's impression of disco comes from tuesdays at the commodore, or 'saturday night fever', NEEDS to check this out. aside from the somewhat suspicious inclusion of the Love Boat theme, this is wall to wall sick disco classics, from the true golden era of the genre. Gems like 'Love Sensation' and 'Let No Man Put Asunder' are not only oozing with funk & soul, but are also educational to the younger generation of dance music listeners. seriously, you'll be smacking your forehead every 5 seconds as you hear the classic vocal snippets that have been used in all your favorite house, breaks, dnb and hip hop tracks. it's very inspirational music too, try puttin this on when you're feeling out of sorts and see if it doesn't make you smile in less than a minute. okay it might be a little to geh for some of you insecure tough-guy types, but who gives a fuck right? IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LOVE :smoke1:

i heard dimitri sucked when he came. His set wasnt that good and the venue was way overpacked. But theres no denying that hes a great DJ, even tho Im generally not into his style of house...

6werd, i'm really not into the house he plays at all. but his selections on that salsoul disc are impeccable. well.. except for the love boat. :sick:
