Any Interest in a...
well - two:
free outdoor ala tower beach late 90s / 2000s party playing hard tribal tek, bleepy acid, dubstep and a bit of hardcore? pay indoor (200?) dark cyber dungeon party playing similar exactly like the above but with more sound helping to contribute to picking up more gear for more of the first? reason is, i recently moved back into the area after leaving, and have amassed a decent sound rig in the process and looking to get people to stick their heads inside the speaker to some sounds that don't quite get much notice in this part of the world.. think mediacore but bigger rig, bit more equipment, and a few different people. again, not innit for the money, just wanna expose myself and some of the other crew to some people interested in somethin a bit well... different.... if so - interested in helping? hands and feet most important for the outdoor events just due to the sheer weight of this shit, cables, cords, and other additions to the decor always appreciated.. pm me here or simply reply. Wicked! As it stands I'm thinking the first (free) will occur 2nd or 3rd weekend of May. Hoping for something as a fundraiser in June so that we can get a geodesic dome built for renegade stages at outdoor festivals - and then one bigger event happening for my birthday on July 7 - gonna redo the 777 party I threw about 7 years back if anyone remembers that comical amusement.
As for vinyl - I still have over 1000 pieces of hardcore available, still waiting patiently to be used again. You'll be more than likely hearing it along with other harder sounds (freetekno, tribe, breakcore, morphbeat, hard acid) on the radio on a weekly basis in the next 2 weeks. You are more than welcome to come by and sample some of this gold to see if it should be in your collection - one of the bigger caches of harder sounds in canada, next to fishead of course.

Tower Beach/Squamish/Richmond/White Rock - Basically whereever we can find a decent outdoor spot that will let us go. There are some plans, unfortunately I don't think it's going to fly this year is to have a mobile rig in a bus/van that can unload at a parking lot in short order outside of other larger scale events - this all started last year in Winnipeg when I realized that I 98% of my time at a party outside in the parking lot / rave gutter. Tested out the theory a few times last year and it went off quite nicely!

So it looks as its gonna happen May long weekend for the first outdoor. Currently lookin for someone with transportation (even better if you are from surrey) to help haul some of this shit out there! My poor car just wont be able to get all this stuff down.

I'll talk to the guy who does sound at the lamp tonight. He also does sound for GM Place, im pretty positive he drives a truck. Unless, you're thinking of a big ass truck in which we would have to look elsewhere, probably rent that.
