Apparently all the annoying doorknob Hipsters that went to the Chromeo show that Freezepop opened up for have guaranteed that Freezepop will never come back to Vancouver.

It's funny because so many of the Chromeo-loving hipsters started picking up Freezepop like a year later. Way to go Vancouver. Almost as brilliant as why Venetian Snares hasn't been here since 2001.

I'm confused how people showing up to a show will guarantee that an artist will never come back to a city. Was there another shoe throwing incident or something?

Pretty close. Kids decided they didn't like the bubblegum-saccharineness of Freezepop's music-theater show and started booing them. Sad, as they're one of my favourite Electroclash bands.

Pretty lame. I mean, when I didn't like the Trance-Live-PA wanker that opened up for KMFDM, I didn't boo him, I went outside for a smoke.
