dubstep is the hot new shit for the underground. Even if you aren't super-into the music, the vibe at these parties are worth the price of admission alone...

good to hear it turned out as deadly as it normally is. Lighta throws killer shows. I was going to check it out however it was on the same night a friend of mine had his birthday bash at the blarney stone. So I chilled with a bunch of friends I haven't seen or heard of in about 7 years so it was nice to get back with them...

Like soo put it... dubstep is absolutely "hot".... I managed to snag the 2xlp by Burial at boomtown. I know that beatstreet and vinyl records is expanding there section of dubstep. Infact vinyl sold out on there dubstep within 2 days. They are having Max Ulis pick out what to import and shit so you know the stuff is going to be heavy...

I've been picking up some heavy dubstep toons at the shops lately. Almost have a full crate full right now...

Oh and just an fyi Skream will be at Shambala this year... kinda choked I am going to miss it....

I remember the first Kode9 show from '05 (great show btw) and it's *amazing* how far the scene has come since then - the Lighta crew has really come into its own in the last little while. These guys are really doing big tings for this city...

18 months on from taking a massive risk on bringing Kode through the first time round and my goodness, what a sight to see on Saturday night. It's nice to see that if you push it for long enough, a beautiful seismic scene shift can occur.

And it's only just begun.
