it's not even the content of the stuff on there that's total crap, it's all these kids with their hacked copy of Ableton making re-edits and remixes with their 192 kbit sample sources (subsequently re-encoding it into mp3s), cheesy synth presets. and doing they're mixdowns (if what they do could even qualify as a "mixdown") on their $20 computer monitors.

I mean the pros definitely do some good work, and there are definitely some shit-hot young up and commers out there, but so many of the amateur remixes just so fucking... amateur... this is one thing that I'm sad to see the decline of labels (not majors, I mean the indies that actually gave a shit about music). At least they would filter out a lot of the blatant bullshit instead of publishing everything that lands at their doorstep like some of these blogs do.

The worst part tho is the DJs that actually play that crap...

I guess music has gotten a whole lot more disposable now that so many don't feel the need to pay for it.
