a hip hop room at a party??????? Its been tried, & its not worked, but at some shows (MM5) its been pretty succesful. I was thinking of putting a 3rd room with hip hop & rnb at one of my shows, but I would only do it if I had possitive feedback

But I have seen a hip-hop DJ play a hip-hop set during a party and it went over very very well.
That DJ was Manos One and the party was Where's Wendal
Aperently(don't kill me if I'm wrong)it was the first rave he ever played too. to bad I haven't seen him play a hip hop set since.
a battle set yes.......a hip hop set no
just try and find a good local hip-hop DJ with some skillz that could drop a couple jungle tracks in
or just see if Presice will do it I know I'd love to see him drop an old-school hip-hop set

yeah the top 40 hip hop stuff I think would be WEIRD at a party, but a hip hop funk set would be nice. Czech had a tight set @ Fully Legal

it does work,,, I've been to a few shows with a good trip-hop hip-hop, and downtempo room.

Earth dance had this wicked live hip-hop artist. He build up this crazy track with a loop sampler. CR Avery has played at few shows I've done sound for also.

i dunno, magic mountain and the last few summerloves had some dope hip hop satges which were nice to chill, smoke a blunt at and get my c-walk on. but right now i feel there are enuff wiggers at parties already, they call themselves junglists.

oh yeah and you would have to cut the top40 hip hop shit, i fuckin hate it, even more then top40 jungle. i suggest booking exacto to do a regular set, or vinny the squid...mat the alien probably would cost too much for a small jungle party
