Props to da producers in Van

Hell I don't even know them all but not enough credit is given to the producers we have in the Vancouver area that are recognized and signed to labels on an International level.

Don't get me wrong, I am not discounting the awesome DJ talent we have in this city but producing is where the real talent is at... Hell, a lot of producers in this city are good DJ's AND producers!

Props to Cinto, Christian Alvarez and Dave Armstrong. I know Christian's tracks are played by DJ Dan, Olav and Antoine. Dave as well has even had tracks played by the likes of Tiesto!

I think just because these guys are local and we can see them anytime at a party/club that they are just not appreciated for their talents.

Vancouver has alway been a good place to pump out music, both techno and industrial(basicly techno any way) I've been hanging out with what's left of Frount Line Asemble a few times, they own it to the shitty weather and good pot.

Christian Alvarez and Dave Armstrong are pretty damn good. I read this interview with Dj Dan where it had what was in his record case at the time and one was a track by Dave Armstrong, and Dj Dan was praising the shit outta the song and about the rest of Dave's songs, which I thought was pretty dope considering Dj Dan's my favorite DJ!

Jay Tripwire is proabbly the most well known and his production level is the best IMO, even if u dont like his heavy-bassline trippy tech house style...

Another good one is Sean Dimitrie, my friends got a track by him with this INSANE bassline and really softish good female vocals, Ive been meaning to order it but havent gotten around to it... Its on village recordings i think?

Ali also has some sweet shit out there too, not really to my taste tho...

Yeah, Vancouvers starting to pump out some seriously talented producers!
