Since no one bothered to mention what type of bassline this post is for, I have chosen Acid Bass Lines
Here are some of my favourites: dave the drummer - Sulphuric A test loop on a 777 done by some torontonian HHC DJ Another 777 demo, off the futureretro website |

both the original rappers delight & the def squad cover version use the chic bassline. that's definitely one of the most classic b-lines out there...
Zapp 'more bounce to the ounce', Parliament 'Flashlight' or 'Aqua Boogie', George clinton 'Atomic Dog', Commodores 'Brick House'... all sick p-funk basslines.. my favorite jungle b-lines- Roni Size Reprazent 'Trust Me', Capone 'Friday', Origin Unknown 'Sound In Motion', High Contrast 'Global Love - Calibre rmx', Krust 'Warhead', Matrix 'Sleepwalk' |
