i don't know about this happy hardcore buisness...i'd rather leave the party than stay there listening to it...give me a bloody headache i can't stand it...i hate it more than i hate trance...now thats A LOT of HATE :029:

A common mis conspetion.

Having only played/attended small parties where HHC is played I can say this:

It's not just for kandy Kids.

At jel-low I saw many kandy kid haters moving to it

At meow (not meow mix, meow, the good one) I played a set there. How many kandy kids made it to that.... I think about 5....
Yet the crowd went nuts....

All this and I don't know how to mix, just cause It was HHC.

sorry, i wasn't implying that it doesn't take any talent to spin/mix happy hardcore, i was just stating my opinion on the genre of the music itself.

it's it the slower tempo?... can't be cuz if its slow you want then go listen to z95..

is it cuz of the bass?... hell no! hh is pretty much all bass!

wut is it that makes hard house better? nothing .. it isn't... it's just wut's "in" in vancouver it's just wut most ppl have as a listening prefference.. well i for one am not one to follow the norm and i like hh and im proud of it just like how all the junglists out there preffer to listen to jungle!

i don't like HHC. although it's bearable in moderation. however, after that fine line has been crossed, i tend to rip out my hair, beat myself with blunt objects, hurl myself in front of trains, etc etc.

i hate it alot of times.. but then it just depends on my mood

if i'm feeling overly happy and what not then it's not too bad..

but if i'm tnot that happy or just kinda blah.. then it makes meeh so mad that i just wanna rip out my speakers.. stab em with a screwdriver and chuck em out my window.. y'know? hehe that's when i want darker stuff..

so it all really depends on my mood....

i find that most of the time, happy hardcore actually depresses me...kind of apocalyptic if anyone understands what i mean...but at outdoor parties, on very rare occasions, it can work. in small doses.
