"THE" Bands

Is anyone else noticing this trend coming back with 'THE' bands?
The Hives, The Vines, The White Stripes, The Doves.....

It's kind of wierd... like going back to the 60's and 70's. back then we had The Beatles, The Turtles, The Troggs, The Yardbirds.

I guess its the whole retro kick cuz these guys are even dressing 60's and 70's. Viva Garage Rock!!!!

We're only on the tip of the iceberg here too when it comes to 'THE' bands and the garage rock revival. If you pick up a copy of NME, a UK based music mag, you'll see way more bands from overseas where this trend seemend to have started. One really good band, from Sweden I think, is the Datsuns. They rule! They all changed they're last name to Datsun just like the Ramones.

So my question..... what are you're fave 'THE' bands? Or do you maybe just wish they would all go away?

Gotta be THE Music and in a close second THE White Stripes.

The Notwist, because they're completely unlike the garage-pop of the other "the" bands.

I love the vines.. the white stripes... the strokes... the hives... ahh all the garage rock bands rox0rs!... never heard of the datsuns, I'll check them out! :D

Out of the THE bands I like The Hives and The White Stripes the best. ooh. and The Strokes.

But that was a fad. Probably won't be more THE bands coming out anytime soon.

I've loved them for a long time. now they're out on the radio...
