Ohhh I forgot about Papa's got a new brown paper bag! So that's Soul of Man? Someone on Nubreaks.com was saying it was Stereo 8 but it sounds more like Soul of Man to me. Make sense since it was released by Vinyl Addiction.
Dan F is pretty dope too. |

Top Choons for the moment....
Koma & Bones "Hijack" CD-R *Old Skool hip hop brought back for 03' with K&B's quality sound Rennie & BLIM "2Freaks" White *Has sort of a Florida sound to it... but damn the floors love it LFO "LFO (Plump DJs Bootleg)" White * Not an easy one to get (and I'm not giving up where I found mine!) .... but really nice boot of the original "LFO" track by LFO Hando Jin Feat Polyphony "Internal Affairs" CD-R * 2nd release forth coming on Priceless and mines new label TwentyHz.... Look for this coming soon with a remix by one of breaks biggest producers.... hold tight Spilt Milk "You Should" CD-R * 1st release forth coming on TwentyHz... been playing for well over 6 months now.... mashes up the floors everytime... can't deny the Ray Keith style b-line.... look for this one in stores soon Oh shit and FC Kahuna's "Hayling (ILS remix)" is the JAM as well! good topic...
first of all some blatant promotion but hipnotik is getting a bunch of the lfo remix done by the plump djs, on wednesday, as far as breaks tunes go... THE BOOGIE PIMPS - Saltshaker (Moonbootica Rmx) this is a sick tune with some neat jeeferson airplane samples and some fear and loathing samples for good measure incredible melting man vs stablilizer funky plaid coat im not sure of which remix it is but, its the first side first mix, starts off in a 4/4 beat stereo 8 groove diggin funky ass shittt! 2 freaks aka rennie and blim im with soda on this one, havent got it yet but its a comin and it is crazy, these 2 can do no wrong and last but definately not least... jackknife lee, aloha satelite (soul of man instumental remix) in my opinion a different style then what soul of man usaully produces... this tune has the bass bins bumbin.. awsome |

any details? *also i'm kinda doubtful it's been sampled more than james brown - it was their only hit track, whereas james brown has a slew of tunes; ie coldsweat, soul pride, papas.., funky drummer, tighten up; that have each probably been used almost as much as Apache...
