Top40 DeeJay (CD mixer)

I may be interested in getting a nice top40 deejay for our grad party at the end of June. (yeah its pre-planning) Now im not talking hours of Z95 beats, but you know kids wanna hear what they like, and they will also hear what they may not. I need to know where the fuck do I find a deejay who plays such music, and prices. Preferably I would like someone off here who maybe I know (or know a bit better) then some random from masterplan (or a company like) for assorted reasons. Another thing is equipment, top40 shit would require someone who can mix using one of them fancy ass CD mixers.. you don't as much need all the CD's as we can get kids to bring their own? Possibilities. So any sorta help on the subject would be great!

find a few friends who are into slumming, rent cd decks, et voila... instant top 40 dj's. i guess you'd have to rent a PA too if you can't find one, but everyone knows someone with a PA.

Get J-Swing. He's mixing skills are off the hook.

J-swing is one of the most expensive djs in town there formula... Not only is he one of the best djs in town, he works for THE BEAT... With a rep like that I dont think Jay would be too into doing a grad party.

Look into getting someone like DJ Hedspin or DJ Relick.. Both have shit loads of tracks and know how to throw it down!! As far as a dj whom will rock anytype of music, look into getting DJ MIGHTY MAXIMUM POSSIBLE! He was Vancouvers first DMC champ and has been rocking shit for like the past 10 years. I can locate his ## is you are interested. He has all the jams and uses both CD and records. He also has all the gear as far as speakers and sound setup goes so your basically paying a 1 price for everything...
