i am going to see him on the 17th, and am so fucking stoked it's all i can talk about.

his new album Avalanche is phenomenal once you have given it a few really good listenings to. mature, powerful, and emotion evoking, i recommend any Matthew Good Band fan get his first solo debut.

"near fantastica", "while we were hunting rabbits", and "house of smoke and mirrors" are my personal favourites.

are there any Matt Good fans out there? anyone going to any of the concerts?

hes alright. some friends of mine were gonna take me to the mat good show on the 18th for my bday, but the tix sold out and i wanted to go to twisted 2003 more anyways, so im goin' to that. I liked mat good more a few years ago, his new stuff is pretty much shit.

what did you think?

I LOVED IT.
minus the drunken death threat, and pushing.
but yes.
i really liked how he played new and old stuff.
his "avalanche" songs were done so well, but i loved that he threw in "beautiful midnight" songs too.
and the last song, the acoustic...

i thought the encore was lame. i always do.
all bands do it.
we know you're coming back out.
do you actually have to know that we love you that much?
really.
we're there for you in the first place.
