Tech Breaks??

What makes a breakbeat "Tech." Someone please give me some traits or artists that produce tech breaks. From my understanding its kinda nu-skooly but not hard. Dan F????

Well if it's like tech-house, its gotta have a big deep rumbling usually bouncy bassline with crazy sampling. I definately do see some sort of resemblance between alot of nuskool breaks Im haering and tech-house.

Tech breaks are jest that. Often less melodic then most Uk breaks out there with a wonderful bassline. Think Meat Katie, Kilowatt Krew, Rennie, Tayo, Distinctive Breaks, Bedrock Breaks,

Very funn to mix less fun for the ears. Working the dancefloor with tech Breaks realy wont work here in Vancity. I prefer using the term progressive breaks because I think it sounds more like Prog House then TEch. although TEch and PRog sound a like too. Once vancouvers music scene matures a little bit I think these styles of Breaks will be played out a lot m ore.
