jb's are from new york and are affiliated with native tounges, which also includes de la and tribe.

brooklyn zoo/native tounges were allso slightly more middle class than most rappers, thats why de la/tribe/jbs never really rap about crack and guns. they were never a part of it like someone from compton would be.

so yeah, definately different people. definately not two crews that would hang out, though nwa and jungle brothers both got thier first major releases in 87/88.
