Female MC

So I cant remember if i posed this already or not so- if you see it some where else please let me know!
Just wondering what you good people of canada think about a female MC...
Ive been pondering about this ever since i started listening to dnb... everyone always seems to complain about how you can never understand what the mc is sayin- so--- if we put a little white girl female mc us there that can flow, sing and dance- that would be pretty cool - A? (hehe)
i wanted to get an opinion from f & k cause a lot of the peeps on NWTekno are really rude-
not that i would stop my little dream of becoming MC MP (megspimpin) -- i just want to see what the people think-
love peace and monkey grease!

I think its dope, at KISS lady persise (excuse the spelling) ripped shit up, was one of the best local female MC's I ever heard.

sadly at history of breaks her mic quality was much lower, and I couldnt stand to listen to her over the crappy sound.

but yeah im all for em! ..as long as they are good ;)

You can't jsut be an emcee. It takes time and lots of hard work. Maybe you worded shit differently but it seems like you just want to "become an emcee"

Illesha, and Lady P are insane.

A lot of people think they can rhyme, maybe they can rhyme in a silent room, but its all about microphone use. If you don't know how to use a mic, even the illest line wont be heard.

Lady Precise owns. Illesha even sings sometimes. Now that is what I call ownage.

Yeah, female MC's/Vocalists are da shiz yo. In town, no one does it like Illy and Lady P.

In SF, I heard MC AudioAngel rock the mic like nobody's business.

And yeah, Tali is wicked too. Lyric On My Lip anyone?

oh what do we think

GOOO LUXURY!

why would you ask such a pointless question? An mc is an mc, just like a DJ is a DJ, i don't really know how much it should matter about what gender they are.

I mean, if your gender is your only redeeming quality, then there's something wrong.

Personally i have never seen a female MC in the 3 years of my raving experience- I was thinking about trying it out- but ... i think i would need a teacher or somethin- i would love love love to do it- as a way of becoming more of a peace in this little party puzzle. I love the music and i love to dance- i love to sing too- and write flows- but i dont know about doing it in front of so many peeps- and makein it sound good- not have people boo me off stage- but hell- ill try anything- and i can learn anything- maybe even how to get pass the fright of feeling the rath-
i know its a fight - i know its a priviage and not a right-
but tonight
this little ravers gonna represent it right.

-or- not-

*can you tell im a gemini*

love for all who are down from day one-
and for thos haters
ill show you how its done

Talent is talent. I doesn't matter if it comes from a guy or a girl. A true open minded person will apreciate a female MC that can spit licks. Its no different from a male MC spit'n licks.

Talent is talent, either you got it, or you don't.
