A friendly recommendation:

Promoters usually get tons of CDs sent/given to them, and often pestered quite frequently by people to book them. It's gonna be pretty rare that a promoter goes out of his way to hear your stuff.

I've tried that way man.. didnt work too well.

Focus more on producing.. a promoter will deffinetly take a local live pa act rather than a dj.

Ya I am a producer, I'll start working on some tracks soon as I have the set up here at home by the end of the summer. Either way I can't play a keyboard, so a live PA wouldn't really work out for me. I hope to have my own tracks produced so I can spin those instead of other peoples tracks.
