Hey there I am probably the biggest trance fan. I freaking live and breath it. So ne ways. How come DJ's only play a few tracks. I think that they should put on like 3/4 of their set to good pumping trance tracks. What do you think?

I'm not much of a trance lover at all. There are those random trance tracks that I love, but other than that, I'm more of a breaks/funky disco house/jungle/speed garage gal myself. I don't really like hearing trance at parties... maybe it's just me...

I love dancing to trance. If you don't think a DJ plays enough of it during their set, then you are hitting the wrong parties.
I've been to some where ALL the DJ's play their particular style of 'trance' and it was great. If there is trance being played at a party, I'll be the one going off on the dance floor with the crazy lights.

I think that perhaps you should go to more trance parties.

that's like really cool yet one more reason 2 play it! it sometimes makes hippie chicks take thier clothes off on the dancefloor like good times all around ooh... and to that "forgettable" kid... um... just cuz someone doesn't like what you like is no reason to assume they don't have a clue when it comes 2 music i think pretty much everyone's taste is valid cuz they're different, right? what they like relates to them and resonates with them i got a mike feng shui cd somewhere around here and it's good, cuz he does some dope stuff with layers and movement thru soundscapes but... i only listened to it one time cuz it doesn't agree with me sonically that does not invalidate your taste or make your choice dumb it simply means we're unique :) stina: 13Moons retired from dj'ing peas and wub, j.

oh wait! you mean the other "parties....!" I am open to all varieties of music and will not limit myself to just one. So my prefrerances is anything tribal, acidic, fast and choatic or quite the opposite, melodic and dreamy or sensual and sexy. I am a sheep because i listen to music, there's nothing wrong with that? Hell, i'm born in that yr! I like popular music just as much as I like unpopular ones. I don't even care if they are one or the other, all I'm interested in is the music, that's all that matters.

Through trance, we have the ability to travel into our minds to discover the world of the subconcious(basicly, a state of meditation). However, to acheive this state, we must open our minds. All genres of dance music have something to offer why would you want to miss out!!!!!! Explore, watch, listen, feel, learn. I've seen many a trance dj brought to tears, moved by the music, it's happend to me. So to all that don't like trance I have a question.......Why? I shure hope that you have a better reason than "It sucks!"

Life is too short to waste my time hatin' things, I'd rather just keep my options open and take things as they come.
What it all comes down to is that each genre of music has a different feeling/emotion to it. I know that by my nature my emotions tend to vary so in retrospect so does my musical taste. Like could you imagine watching the nature channel with digital hardcore, or faces of death with gay fluffy trance? People suck. markpaul :384:
