the whole setup is made specifically for picking up minute vibrations, so just try not to whack your decks around too much.
alternatively, turn the bass down when you're beating them... the knocks will still be there but they won't punch as badly. |

Hey its unfair to assume devotion bought his turntables to jump on a bandwagon... maybe he doesen't know any dj's and is just wondering if what he is doing with his turntables is right and that he hasen't fucked anything up, how else is he gonna learn... remember we were all new once... i had no one show me in person to tell me how to beatmatch or scratch, i just asked a couple questions on a msg board and looked up some articles... and i taught myself... devotion maybe your volume is just turned up and the needles are picking up the minor vibrations, just throw a record on and u wont hear that tapping sound anymore cuz the music well be much louder :) :)... if u have any problems with skipping with the shures like i had(i got the same ones), make sure the weights on the tonearms are at 3grams.. i haven't had much problem with skipping since then... also a sturdy table can help prevent skipping
